3 Month Report Card

Look, Mom & Dad! At 3 months old I'm 24 inches long and weigh a solid 13lbs!

What has Henry been doing well these days?

He holds his head up more and more.

Loves sleeping on his stomach for naps!

He has also been doing great playing with his friends Max and Jack!

Although, I can see them all running into some problems as they vie for Maeven's attention in the near future!

Another important skill mastered = the selfie!

The best yet - his squeaky babbling!

What could he improve on during month 4?

Not making cute smiley faces and laughing in his sleep - sure makes it hard to set him down!

He isn't super interested in playing with his toys just yet. We keep working on his gripping skills...some day soon!  Again, he is quite the babbler which makes for some mid-talking pictures : )

All in all it has been a wonderful month! I have gone back to work to a job that I love, Gabe got a few weeks off and Henry has continued to be a happy, healthy baby boy!

First Christmas

Our first Christmas with Henry started with a little mini photo shoot.                  {I need to get Photoshop re-installed to take care of some of the lighting and cord issues but I know some of you (Bill & Jess) have been anxious for another post so I didn't want to wait another week!}

 Easily distracted by the lights

Whoa, Ma! I need an extra present to hold me up!

Perfectly comfortable now : )

We were lucky to have a quiet weekend to ourselves before we headed off to Wisconsin and then Sumner. We spent Saturday night wrapping gifts and snuggling with our very soon to be 3 month old.

Opening my stocking and going right for the good stuff

Henry acting like nothing happened....must be taking after his sweet tooth cousin, Nolan...

Now for a solid week of family fun with Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles, and lots of cousins!

A week with Daddy!

So Henry, what do you think about Dad being on duty for the week?

Despite his early reservations Henry had an amazing week.

He got to visit and help out at Great Grandpa and Grandma's house!

He was much happier shopping with Gabe than he has ever been with me.... must be the choice in stores : )

Gabe even picked out his outfits all week and he looked cuter than ever which of course made it even harder for me to leave for work!

Luckily, I got a few smiles to hold me over while I was away.

Henry even got to try out his Bumbo seat for the first time. Mostly successful...but still a little too small.

I think he thought he was going to start getting some real food because he started fussing shortly after this picture!

I got home to find these pictures in the camera on Thursday. Looks like they had a lot of fun in Sumner!

Strangely he does make for a cute little elf!

After a busy 4 days Friday was definitely the day to relax!

I think they both enjoyed all the extra snuggles and male bonding : )

A visit from Aunt Andrea and cousin Savannah!

While Gabe was out getting some food for the freezer all weekend...

this cute little guy and I waited for some very special weekend visitors!!

Aunt Andrea and Cousin Savannah!

Cousin Savannah couldn't help but pinch your cute chubby cheeks!

Of course we had to stop at Scratch for some cupcakes!

Maybe next year Henry!!

Time for Henry's afternoon nap!

 Perfect swaddle Aunt Andrea!

 All SMILES!!

When Andrea and Savannah weren't snuggling in close with Henry

There was some "farming" going on - right girls ; )

A trip to Waverly isn't complete without breakfast at Dell's Diner!

for a 'larger than your plate pancake' : )

Thank you so much for making the drive to Iowa!!! It was great spending the weekend together!

Henry & Oliver

Well, our good friends Sara & Nate Heitz had a little boy 2 1/2 weeks ago and we were finally able to visit.

Don't worry, Henry, next time we visit little Oliver will wake up and play with you.

Yikes, Henry looks like he is growing by the minute in these pics! I can hardly believe Henry was that small at one point!

Excited to share in this new adventure with you, Sara!!
