Celie 7 Months

7 months old!

Our little girl is still little. Weighing in at about 13.5lbs she is at least growing in the right direction. She doesn't seem to mind being small because she is as happy as ever!

(I didn't get my camera settings changed and we had a small window of time to get these taken so we had to settle for semi blurry shots : / )

It has been a beautiful month and we have gotten a few trips to the park in ever with our busy schedule.

The best part about this month... all the ponytail action!!

And pig tails - my favorite!!

 We also got to start in on food with her. 

She took a little bit of avocado but overall wasn't a huge fan.

Meanwhile, Henry took some extra effort to make sure food got all over his face as well tonight.

All in all, she is way more in to sitting in her chair chewing on toys that she is interested in eating food at this point. 

Excited to see how our next month goes!

Our THREE year old!

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY, HENRY! 

We celebrated your special Friday birthday at home together. Daddy was in OKC and school was called off because of flooding so you got to help me make your cake!

Once Daddy got home we lit three candle and celebrated with birthday ice cream.

Cousin Lydia made a special sign just for you.

Piper and Silas came over to help you celebrate!

Grandma Jane came all the way from Wisconsin.

Over the course of the last year you have spent quite a bit of time with these magnets and turning into a three year old just meant you needed more of them.

You are also a huge fan of reading so it was nice to have Aunt Amber willing to fit in a few books.

We lucked out having Aunt Mary in town too!

Uncle Nate helped Silas and Piper with a special birthday performance!

2 weeks earlier...

 M: Henry, what do you want for your birthday?

H: A Little Einsteins rocket ship book.

M: What do you want to eat on your birthday?

H: Cake.

M: What else? Like what kind of food?

H: Frosting.

M: What else?

H: Balloons

I think we did it all Henry!

Now I wonder how long it will take to get the three fingers figured out : ) 

Week with Momma and the BIG storm

Daddy has to make a couple trip to OKC for work these next couple months. Our first week with him gone got of to a great start. We were out the door by 7am! (*Of course after I dropped the kids off I realized I forgot a couple things..."

Later in the week there was a big, BIG storm passing through.  It was pretty scary but it stayed just north of us so we didn't have to head to the den. 

As for Henry... well he LOVES a good storm. He spent the evening running back and forth from every window trying to see every lightening strike. 

The 4440

This little boy was just about as excited as his Daddy to go to the farm today. 

They had a new tractor to check out! The John Deere 4440 was looking good!

Celie didn't get a tractor ride but she did get to snuggle with Great Grandpa Lyle.
