In preparation for Mother's Day we spent a beautiful May evening outside decorating some pots for the Grandma's and me : )
Always one to stop and smell the flowers!
He's becoming quite the pointer too!
Our actual Mother's Day weekend got off to a grand start when we were able to stop and eat at one of our favorite spots along the ride home. We haven't made it there for supper since Henry was 3 months old!!
Henry tends to be more into waving at the camera than simply smiling...
On Saturday we got to Mauston just in time for a quick farm lesson and
a mini tractor tutorial from Uncle Bill and cousin Nolan.
Of course he found his favorite car to cruise around in.
And Aunt Keilah helped him out with picking some of his favorite flowers!
Ahhh, How sweet is my little boy!
Although, I wasn't the only one he was handing flowers out to...
He saved the fresh ones for cousin Liam and Aunt Jess!
Such a lover boy! Or maybe he was just trying to sweeten Liam a little so he wouldn't take 'his' car...
Lucky to have these gals watching over him!
Henry finding time to smell some of Grandma's flowers!
Pretty soon he will be riding Grandpa's teeter totter all by himself.
Lucky to have such great cousins helping out until then!
Grandpa was busy in the fields this weekend but was able to get in a quick squeeze.
And luckily Nolan knows where Grandma keeps her crackers for snack time!
While Henry was down for a nap I got to get my boots on and do a little 'farming' : )
aka Follow Keilah around and watch her farm
and Nolan talk about machinary : )
A little faster please Keilah...
It was a definitely a beautiful day to be outside.
Henry woke up just in time for a little more farming action.
Lastly, and perhaps my FAVORITE photo of the weekend. I was able to randomly capture the perfect selfie with sweet little Liam!!
I have to admit the rest of the photos looked a lot more like this...
It was a great weekend. Thanks Aunt Doe and Uncle Scott for letting us stay in Tomah. I still can't believe I didn't snap a single photo of all the fun he had with you two -especially during his epic run with Uncle Scott! He was clearly exhausted when we left your house on Sunday and slept almost the whole way home!
