2 Month Report Card

In the blue corner weighing in at 11lbs 12ounces.....
Henry William Stauffer

What can Henry do really well these days?
Smiling - Smiling is the best!

Taking a bottle when needed = A+

Also, he has started to have fun underneath mobiles and even hits things once and a while! (Who cares if it is purely accidental.)

What does Henry need to improve on?
SLEEPING! Now we really can't complain, it could be worse and I suppose he is only a baby.  Who ever came up with the phrase sleep like a baby definitely did not actually have a baby!. He was up every 2-3 hours last night and spends the morning struggling with gas so the only way he can sleep at that point is on his stomach. (Don't worry he is carefully monitored.)

Other favorite pictures from month #2

All bundled up for his first xc meet

Excited to be wearing his Packer jersey and flashing his first smiles for the camera!

Cute as can be even when he is sad- just look at that lip!

Sneaking a peek at bath time

Such a stretcher as he tries to wake up and once he is awake watch out for those jack-o-lantern smiles!

Knuckles! On to month #3!

Henry's Baptism

Sunday, November 17th 2013
Henry William was baptized at St. Mary's church in Waverly, Iowa.
Godparents: Bill Powers (my brother) & Amber Stauffer (Gabe's sister-in-law)

To recap the momentous event...

Henry was a champ and only opened his eyes wide while the water was being poured on his head.

And he was wide eyed as we walked him around the church.

Grandpa Steve and Grandma Jane were there.

As well as Grandma and Grandpa Stauffer.

We were also really lucky to have Great-Grandpa and Grandma Stauffer there that day!

Three very excited Wisconsin cousins had a blast as well!

And of course, the Stauffer men are a proud bunch and were very excited to have you join the clan!

One last group we were happy to have with us on that day, Henry's great Aunt Joanie & Uncle Leonard as well as Gabe's cousin Jared. Thanks for being apart of our special day!

Of course, everyone wanted to hold you close!

Your oldest Stauffer cousins were pretty excited to meet you! They will be able to teach you all sorts of manly things like football, wrestling, fishing, and how to survive in the wilderness!

Finally, cousin Nolan was ready to hold him. He looks pretty proud to me!
So loved!

Future babysitters!!!

Thanks everyone for being apart of this special day! Henry is so blessed to have each and everyone of you in his life!

Time to meet the Godfather (and his family)and Auntie K

**Warning LOTS of pictures in this post - Just couldn't narrow them down!**

Aunt Keilah arrived Friday evening and was super excited to hold her newest nephew.  She was so excited in fact that she really never put Henry down.

She had to give Henry up at some point though and that time came once Uncle Bill arrived with his crew. Henry was such a good little boy letting everyone hold and play with him nonstop.

Lydia is a natural! She will be babysitting in no time!!

When they weren't holding Henry there was lots of joke telling...

squirrel feeding,

airplane-ing,
and storytelling!

Now Haley's turn to hold her newest cousin!
He looks way to comfortable in her arms!

Nolan was starting to feel the effects of no longer being the 'baby' of the family. Good thing Aunt Keilah's lap was open.

One last close inspection and then it was time to go to the hotel.

Finally some fun at the hotel - pizza and pool!

Luckily, you had two Aunts to hold you so I could have fun in the pool!

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE VISIT AND WE CAN'T WAIT TILL THEY COME AGAIN!!
