Our Irish Roses

We went to Wisconsin for the weekend to celebrate our favorite Irish-roses!

And see our favorite Irishman!

St. Patrick's Day weekend was a good weekend to

celebrate a belated birthday!

She was all ready to give it her best blow but

shied away at the last moment!

Good thing big brother Henry was close by to help out!

She still didn't get any cake but cousin Lydia helped out with a bottle.

Meanwhile I got snuggles from this handsome little stud!

It didn't last long before he wanted to give a little love to his Celie girl!

Getting outside a little was a must even if it was a bit chilly.

Later that night the real festivities began!

Lots of people came to help mom celebrate.

My favorite tie of the night : )

Once social hour was over it was time for the President to get the ceremony started.

Table pictures before supper.... Colleen?

Dad and his Wild Irish Rose!

Representative Brooks and Mom sparring as always!

Let's get to the fun part!

And then this HUGE leprechaun came out of  nowhere!

The Billy Walshes

And the outlaws!

Missing all the fun ones but doing our best to represent!

Look who won the trip to Ireland!!

Clinic afterwards for free green beer and dancing. (Sorry, Gabe - selfie game was off)

Me and my German boy

The next day was the one and only St. Mary's Ham Dinner!

And look who showed up!

I swear these are the exact same ladies serving for the last 20 years!

The BEST part of St. Mary's Ham Dinner! Endless pie selection!

Celie Dee even got to see Aunt Dee!

A quick family photo and we are ready to head back to our little German town of Waverly!

A Weekend at Home

It was one of those beautiful weekends at home.

Poor Celie didn't get to go outside with the boys but she had more important things to do!

EAT!

And give me the play by play on all their activities!

Not going to give me a smile!

A little out of focus but still love it.
H: Mom, is supper ready?

Sunday night - everyone is tuckered out.
