Celie 11 Months

Our 11 month little girl! 

She isn't sitting still these days and always trying to keep up with her big brother. 

Laughing/wondering what the heck Henry is up to now!

We finally have a big eater on our hands! She gobbles up almost everything we put in front of her and keeps a close eye to make sure we aren't eating anything that looks better than what's on her plate!

She also isn't one to want to be held while drinking. 

Put the bottle down and she polishes it off on her own.

Good thing she still needs her momma for bath time! She does everything she can to keep up with her big brother in the bath tub - splashes included.

Finally becoming a regular with pulling herself up - too bad she gets stuck in the position...

Henry is struggling a bit with her new skills.

Although we can only figure out a few of her words (Dada, Hi, Henry, Mama, book) she is quite the talker and has the best facial expressions!

Isn't quite strong enough to blow a kiss mid crawl : )

Fun at Home

January has been filled with lots of snow days at home with Mom! 

When we weren't outside shoveling and building forts...

we were inside pretending to be Rocky from Paw Patrol!

or having friends over - Oliver!!

I loved being home during nap time for many obvious reasons but also so I could snap these perfect pictures of sleeping Henry. The lightening in Celie's room isn't as great so I didn't get one of her just yet.

And she prefers to be up and playing with all the toys she can get her hands on when big brother is sound asleep!

Shaving

One of Gabe's favorite memories growing up was having his Dad shave him. Henry has been doing some minor 'shaving' while in the tub trying to mimic Gabe but last night Gabe decided it was time to give Henry his first 'shave'. 

And it was ADORABLE!

H: Dad, look at my belly. We have to shave my belly too. 

Seriously, is there anything cuter than a little boy in just underwear?!

Not missing a single hair!

H: Dad, when are you going to get my belly?

H: I think you just about got it all Dad.

Serious Stud! 

Now if only his barber-ess would get to work on his colics!

Stauffer Christmas

Our Christmas gathering turned in to a New Years Eve get together. We wrapped up a wonderful day together with some family bowling.

It was Henry's first time bowling.

And he was ALL about it!

Things got off to a solid start but

quite a few gutter balls kept bringing down his score.

Celie mostly enjoyed being passed around as usual. 

It was Piper and Silas first time bowling as well. 

Silas turned out to have quite a knack!

I think that was after his second spare of the game?

Henry spent most of the second game getting some bowling shoes on...

Pretty proud that he finally matched everyone else.

The rest of the time kids were busy 'playing' with Garrison : ) 

Eating chicken tenders and making a mess!

The next morning started out with figuring out his new Bruder Crane!!! Thanks Uncle Nate and Uncle Adam!!!!

Then it was time to get ready for lots of hugs and kisses from aunts, uncles and cousins!

Things were getting serious when he learned about his role as an angel in the Christmas story reenactment. 

The innkeeper letting us know there is no room.
